The intersection of Sumter and Pendleton streets will see changes in the upcoming months. A new bike lane is planned for Pendleton Street, but now officials are reviewing adding more parking options in the area.

Carolina Cafe owner Lauren Schluter said most of her business comes in the morning. Customers leave their cars parked outside, drop in to grab their breakfast, and head back out — all in about five minutes.
