Always be wary of your surroundings, especially here in Colorado, where the wildlife is abundant! A video has recently gone viral of a mountain lion seeking shade beneath the rear bumper of a car in Colorado. A hiker found the animal resting beneath the car after returning from a hike.
With the heat still permeating throughout the state, animals will likely seek shade and shelter during the hot days, so it's important to check your surroundings (and under your vehicle) before going back home, just in case you picked up a "hitchhiker."
