Get and give a lifetime of love to a wonderful dog.

Do you have tons of love to give and space in your heart for a furry friend? Then you are in luck, because today through Friday, December 20, you can find your next BFF for half the fees through the Denver Dumb Friends League (DDFL).

Both the Leslie A. Malone and Buddy Center locations are offering 50 percent off adoption fees for dogs one and older for just a few more days. Usually, fees are $125 to adopt a dog over a year of age, but this deal makes it more affordable to give your new buddy to its furever home.

An important thing to remember: while it is the holidays and this is an amazing deal that will help so many pets find homes, please think twice before you adopt an animal to give as a gift. DDFL has a wonderful article "I Want to Surprise My Loved One with a Pet-Is It a Good Idea?" that will help you make the right choice.

All pets available for adoption can be viewed at the Dumb Friends League website. You can search for your new family member by age, size, breed, and/or gender. There are so many lovable pups ready to give you a lifetime of love.
