WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Good evening Texoma! It’s a dreary day across the region today. Temperatures have stayed cool all day long with temperatures only topping out in the 40s. We saw thunderstorms this morning - even some small hail mixed in at times with those storms, but they were noisy for sure. Those storms cleared this morning, but gave way to cold showers for the rest of the afternoon. Snow has been ongoing in the Texas panhandle and that cold air is expected to push east. However, I believe most of us will still be dealing with just showers for the rest of the night. Some light snow could mix in at times, but again, mostly just rain for us. Heading into tomorrow, we dry out and see temperatures turn warmer and get into the upper-50s. After tomorrow, we open the door for Spring to make its return as highs stay mild in the upper-70s to low-80s. Fire weather could return once again by the middle of the week as a storm system pushes by and brings another day of very windy weather on Friday.
