Former Penn State football offensive guard JB Nelson committed to the Kansas State Wildcats on Saturday after entering the spring window of the NCAA transfer portal on April 14, according to 247 Sports Matt Zenitz. Nelson was the first Nittany Lion to enter the spring portion of the transfer portal. He began his collegiate career at Lackawanna College for two seasons before transferring to the Nittany Lions. Nelson played in 31 games, making eight starts as a reserve lineman. He will have one year of eligibility remaining.
