Cap off your holiday with one of these fabulous fireworks shows!

The Fourth of July is right around the corner, and almost every fireworks show has returned to pre-covid operations. Fireworks are returning to the Inner Harbor after two years and many of the celebrations around Maryland have added more music and activities than in previous years.

Most of the firework shows listed are free to attend, but plan ahead to make sure you avoid traffic and high parking prices.

• Inner Harbor Fourth of July Celebration
  • When: July 4
  • Where: Inner Harbor
  • For the first time in three years, tickets will also be available for “Picnic at the Top,” a watch party at the Top of the World Observation Tower. The fireworks will begin at 9:30 on July 4, 2022, visit BSO.org for a complete schedule of events.
• City of Annapolis Independence Day Parade/Fireworks Show
  • When: July 4 
  • Where: Susan Campbell Park
  • The parade route starts at Amos Garrett and West St., down West St. and through Church Cir. and ends on Main St. Visit annapolisparking.com ahead of your visit for parking.
• Red, White, and BOOM!
  • When: July 4
  • Where: Leidos Field at Ripken Stadium
  • Try your hand at axe throwing, giant Jenga, and more. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $20 for indoor seats with a private VIP bar.

• July Fourth Fireworks
  • When: July 4
  • Where: Lakefront at Columbia
  • Enjoy food from popular food trucks like DMV Taqueria, Blowfish Poke, Dizzy Cow Pizza, and Kona Ice. For the Soul and Pacha Mama’s Juice. Free parking is available at the Mall at Columbia.
• Ocean City July Fourth Music and Fireworks
  • When: July 4
  • Where: Ocean City
  • Grab your beach chairs and head to N. Division St. (Downtown) or 125th St. at Northside Park. Both shows start at 9:30 sharp, so don’t be late!
