You get to see your favorite life-sized dinosaur, get a discounted meal, and learn some interesting facts about the T-Rex!
Following suit of the LEGO Americana Roadshow event last summer, Town Center Virginia Beach is giving residents a chance to come face-to-face with their favorite dinosaurs at the Jurassic Journey event! For two-weeks, Town Center will be crawling with 20 life-sized dinosaurs, educational opportunities, and dinosaur-themed activities that will entice your minds! Think about it: you can live out your dreams of being a paleontologist!

Dino Dig Tent: Fossil Digs, Fossil Rubbings, and Cretaceous Chalk Art | Sunday–Thursday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Friday–Saturday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
Dig in the sand for fossils and dinosaur bones, rub the fossils to discover their secrets, and then draw some cretaceous art on the sidewalk. Discover the Jurassic Period's secrets and live out your paleontologist dreams!
Fountain Plaza Entertainment | Monday-Friday, 5:30-9 p.m.
Take a break from your hard work of discovering new things and jam out to some tunes!
Live! TC-Rex Encounter | Friday-Sunday, 1-4 p.m.
Is the T-Rex your favorite dinosaur? If so, you will have a special opportunity to come face-to-face with the short-armed beast! Check out its markings, teeth, claws and other features as you take pictures, touch the dinosaur, and hang out with it.

Dino Dancers | Friday-Sunday, 3 p.m.-6 p.m.
Get your groove on with your favorite dinosaur! Bust a move with a T-Rex and other dinosaurs as you learn a new dance routine or just wiggle your hips back and forth!

Hear the music of the Jurassic Period as you watch ballet dancers glide across the stage to songs about green moss, misty meadows, and mega-dinosaurs! There will be special lighting for the show as well as winning graphics.

The event is free and open to the public with free ample parking in one of the garages. This is a self-guided tour around Town Center so you can discover new things on your own. If you find yourself famished after all of the hard work, select local Town Center businesses are offering discounted meals.
