FORT PIERCE, Fla. – Misericordia scored two runs in each of the first two innings, and added three more in the fourth, in a 10-5 win over Kenyon College in college baseball action Wednesday.

The Cougars (7-3) scored 24 runs in their last two games.

Misericordia had 15 hits, four of them for extra bases. Leadoff hitter Jack Regenye had three hits and scored three runs. Brock Bollinger had four hits, three RBIs and scored two runs. Jake McDonough had two hits and three RBIs. Brooks Kanwisher had three hits and scored one run.

Max Kneidinger pitched the first six innings to get the win. He struck out eight and allowed three runs. Zak Lussier pitched the seventh, while Owen Daminger struck out two and did not allow a hit over the final two innings.

College softball



Wilkes 4, Saint Elizabeth University 2 (suspended): At Myrtle Beach, Wilkes had its softball game against Saint Elizabeth University suspended in the bottom of the fourth inning Wednesday.

The game will resume Thursday with the Colonels leading, 4-2.

It will be a busy day for the Colonels as they have games against Bay Path University and the University of Valley Forge also scheduled.

Men’s volleyball



Drew 3, King’s 1: At Madison, N.J., Drew won the final two sets Wednesday to earn a 3-2 (25-17, 18-25, 25-18, 26-24) win in nonleague volleyball.

Logan Dougherty led King’s with 16 kills, and teammate Greg Bousquet added 12 spikes. Ben Maskiell ended with 31 assists and 14 digs. Aiden Glasgow, Bousquet and Dougherty each added 11 digs.

King’s (11-9) hosts nationally-ranked Messiah Saturday at McGrane Gymnasium.

Men’s lacrosse



Virginia Wesleyan 14, Wilkes 2: At Virginia Beach, the Marlins scored a combined 11 goals in the second and third quarters to earn the nonleague win.

Oscar Cline and Jackson Casper netted the lone Colonels’ goals.

Wilkes (1-3) hosts Lebanon Valley Saturday at Schmidt Stadium.

Kean 13, Misericordia 7: At Union, N.J., the hosts scored four goals in the second and third quarters to knock off Misericordia.

Six players scored goals as Jared Pellicclione netted two.

Misericordia (0-5) travels to New Paltz on Saturday.

Marywood 10, King’s 9, OT: At McCarthy Stadium, Marywood’s Ricky Strobel scored with two minutes left in overtime to lift the Pacers.

Jake Cierech led King’s with three goals. John Wall and Zach Webb each scored twice.

Ricky Strobel, Shaun Howey and John Scibello each netted two goals for Marywood.

King’s (0-3) travels to Hood College on Saturday.

Women’s lacrosse



Marywood 21, King’s 11: At McCarthy Stadium, Marywood scored at least five goals in three of the four quarters en route to the nonleague win.

Chloe Burke led King’s with four goals, and Alli Lindsay added three. Sarah Schultz and Emilee Schultz each two goals a piece.

Marywood’s Kaitlyn Smith scored a game-best six goals.

King’s (0-3) is back in action Monday at Gwynedd Mercy.
