MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left one man dead Thursday morning.According to MDSO, deputies responded to the area of Northwest 89th Street and 22nd Avenue just after 3:50 a.m. after receiving a ShotSpotter alert.Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials confirmed that the victim had been shot in the face and was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.Deputies said he was pronounced dead at the hospital.Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
