The flight simulator is the first of its kind to open in the D.C. area!
If you’ve ever wanted to know what it's like to pilot a commercial plane, you can try it out with a trip to the mall. Dream Aero, a new flight simulation experience is opening on October 30, 2019, at the Montgomery mall in Bethesda. The simulator allows you to see what it's like to fly an actual Boeing 737 NG aircraft from takeoff to landing. Chart a route to more than 12 cities, including destinations like Paris and San Francisco. Dream Aero opened earlier this month and will hold a grand opening celebration this week.
The Boeing 737 experience begins with a pre-flight lesson by a licensed pilot who will accompany you for the flight. As a Dream Aero pilot, you’ll experience all the significant flight stages of takeoff, flight, and landing. You may even encounter some weather along the way. The Dream Aero simulator is so precise, it can even be used by licensed pilots for training. You can “fly to 12 amazing destinations across the world including scenic Innsbrook, Austria, fabulous Las Vegas, or another unique destination of your choice.
Packages for a trip on the Dream Aero simulator start at $195 for a 30-minute flight. A VIP flight of 180 minutes is available for $780, and Dream Aero allows you to take up to two friends with you on every flight. Dream Aero also offers advance aviation lessons and corporate event packages.
The grand opening of Dream Aero is free and open to the public. View the simulator, meet the pilots and crew, and enter to win gifts and free flights. All the fun begins with a ribbon-cutting on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 5:30 p.m. at the Montgomery Mall in Bethesda.
