Celebrate the magic of Halloween in scare-free, family-friendly style.
It's fall, y'all! And that means Halloween is just around the corner, bringing with it the annual celebration that gives us all 'pumpkin' to talk about October 17 to November 3!
Pumpkin Nights returns again to the Adams County Fairgrounds, bringing with it over 3,000 pumpkins, fire shows, movies, and so much more. Its motto is truly "go big or 'gourd' home!"
"Plan your own adventure and get transported into the enchanted world of Pumpkin Nights with dazzling, multi-sensory Halloween displays and seven Pumpkin Lands created with more than 3,000 hand-carved real and synthetic pumpkins," says the event's Facebook page.
Founded in 2016 in Minnesota, this unique event has a mission of showcasing local artists and helping people celebrate the wonder of the season in a no-spook zone that is ideal for all ages. The event seems to grow every year, and Denver is lucky to have it back to add some spice to pumpkin season.

The fall wonderland leads you on a half-mile walking tour of the Forbidden Pumpkin City, a pirate’s cove, and several other fantastical lands all built with thousands of pumpkins, which are the real stars of the show. In addition, the festive, Pumpkin Central-area will host entertainment, games, and more. You can also enjoy fire-breathing fun with the Spirit of Pumpkins fire show. Professional pumpkin artists will also be on hand to show offer their talents and show you how to kill it at the pumpkin-carving contest this year.
In addition, there are plenty of activities for kids, including digging for treasure in Pumpkin Pirate Cove, catching a screening of Nightmare Before Christmas, or getting their faces painted with the look of the season.
