Her son is a cancer survivor who has been sick on every previous birthday. She wants THIS birthday to be different.

Alexandria mom Erin Weinburger wants to make her son's fourth birthday is a little extra special by gathering enough yellow cars along their street to surprise him with a "sea of bumblebees"! Whitaker Weinburger is obsessed with Bumblebee so much so that he assumes any yellow car he sees is the famed robot and yells out his name.

A cancer survivor who beat stage 4 Neuroblastoma, Whitaker has been sick on every one of his past birthdays and has not been able to celebrate or experience a birthday party. This year, however, his mom wants it to be different and happy.

On the morning of his birthday, Erin hopes to walk Whitaker to school along a long line of yellow cars. She is asking that anyone—friend, neighbor, or anybody with a yellow car—to please help out. If you are interested in helping out this precious family, please show up at Woodbine Street and Crest Street in Alexandria, Virginia, no later than 7 a.m. on Wednesday, September 11.

The voice actor who voices Bumblebee on Cartoon Network's Transformers: Cyberverse has reached out in hopes to get in touch with Whitaker as well.

Whitaker has endured surgeries, radiation, chemotherapy, and two bone marrow transplants, all by the age of 3. Thankfully, his scans have come back clear, and he is on a long road to a healthy and productive life!

We at OCN are thankful to hear of Whitaker's clear results! He has a beautiful soul, and we hope the community can come together to surprise him with a sea of Bumblebees!

Do you have a yellow car? Know somebody who does? Tell us in the comments, and spread the word!
