SPRINGFIELD — The Springfield Women’s Commission will honor four women — including a 17-year-old high school senior — at an event celebrating International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month.

The event, “Women Educating and Inspiring Generations,” is scheduled for March 6 at 3:30 p.m. at Springfield City Hall inside room 220, according to a statement from the commission.
