ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A red flag warning is in effect Monday for most of New Mexico as winds gusting up to 70 mph and dry conditions are expected. The red flag warning is in effect Monday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Four Corners is the only exception as precipitation is likely, including snow. That snow is expected to push into places like Raton and Clayton. Combined with the high winds, that could create blizzard-like conditions Tuesday morning. A high wind warning is in effect from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Places in the warning may see wind gusts of 60-70 mph. A wind advisory is in effect for places on the western edge of that warning where gusts up to 55 mph are expected in that same timeframe.
