TAYLOR — Freshman Nico Antoniacci scored 23 points and dished out five assists while leading the four double-figure scorers as District 2 champion Riverside knocked out Southern Columbia, 77-54, in a PIAA Class 3A boys basketball first-round state tournament game Saturday.

Gerry Rose (18), Connor McNally (15) and Brayden Rose (11) also scored in double figures for Riverside, now 24-2 with its only losses coming in a split of four games, including two championship games, with 2024 state finalist Holy Cross. The Vikings will meet Overbrook in the second round Wednesday.
