This is "nacho" your average hotel. It is also not a joke; someone somewhere used precious brain power to come up this supreme (?) theme ideal. It is called The Bell: A Taco Bell Hotel and Resort, and it is exactly what you fear it is: immersing yourself chalupa-deep in all things Taco Bell.  

Taco Bell is opening this grande project in Palm Springs. It is set to open August 9 this year, with reservations opening in June. Apparently, this is a limited-time lodging experience, so I suppose pop-ups are now a thing in the hotel world. In fact, the word at the drive-thru is that this hotel will only be open for five days. 

Taking its slogan of "Live Más" to an epic (and totally unnecessary?) level, the Bell is bringing a tacoasis of restaurant culture, all wrapped in a tortilla of fun. 

"Get ready for 'Bell'hops and Baja Blasts, Fire Sauce and Sauce Packet floaties, because The Bell: A Taco Bell Hotel and Resort is opening for a limited time in Palm Springs this August, meant for 18+ superfans. Complete with exclusive Taco Bell menu items and plenty of surprises, The Bell is sure to be the spicy twist of your summer. So pack your swimsuit, mark your calendars and start the countdown, because The Bell is about to make all of your taco dreams come true."

This hotel will offer a menu of your favorite food and other experiences. The gift shop will sell exclusive apparel, the on-site salon will apply Taco Bell-inspired nail art and fades (and don't forget the braid bar). You can sit down to chef-cooked meals featuring the classic flavors of the chain, as well as some new creations. Or, just join your fellow Bell-ers at the "happier hour."

“The Bell stands to be the biggest expression of the Taco Bell lifestyle to date,” said Taco Bell Chief Global Brand Officer Marisa Thalberg in a press release provided to Bustle. “It will be fun, colorful, flavorful and filled with more than what our fans might expect.” Continued Thalberg, “Just like some of our most sought-after food innovation, this hotel brings something entirely new for lucky fans to experience and enjoy."

Will "salsa" dancing lessons be offered? Will there be (nacho) cheesy comedy offered? Is the plumbing at this place up to code (it better be, because we've ALL been there after a late-night Bell run)? No one really knows. But maybe you will be one of the lucky ones to make a reservation and stay! If you are, please report back, because I'm still not sure how this is actually a thing.
