Pirates Invade Yorktown | Riverwalk Landing, Yorktown | Saturday–Sunday

Pirates will be invading Riverwalk Landing and Watermans Restaurant to teach you lessons of the scurvy life. There will be plenty of hands-on activities, including scavenger hunts, the opportunity to explore and sail in a pirate ship, and the chance to witness a pirate trial. Check out the event here!

Roarchestra | Virginia Zoo, Norfolk | Sunday 

Admission to the concert is free with the purchase of a daily ticket to the Zoo. Enjoy a special concert by the Virginia Symphony Orchestra as they play among the animals. Songs will be animal-themed, including John Williams's Hedwig’s Theme from Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone, and Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's Flight of the Bumblebee. Virginia International Tattoo | Scope Arena, Hampton | Friday–Sunday

This event is more than just getting an exceptional tattoo -- there are plenty of activities to expect: Here, you will have the opportunity to have a tattoo done by one of 1,000 tattoo artists from all around. The event will also feature a fife and drum corps, bagpipers, military bands, precision drill teams, and performing ensembles ranging from step dancers to motorcycle stunt drivers.
