Summer is officially here, and we can't wait to celebrate! Soak in the sun at food festivals and concerts, or shake it out at indoor dance parties. This weekend, the DMV has it all!

Ariana Grande: Sweetener World Tour | Capital One Arena | Friday

Summer Solstice Hip Hop Film Festival | National Museum of American History | Saturday

Can't Feel My Face: 2010s Dance Party | 9:30 Club | Saturday

America Now: Celebration of Music | Smithsonian American Art Museum | Saturday

Giant National Capital Barbecue Battle | Pennsylvania Avenue NW | Saturday-Sunday

What better way to celebrate summertime than with barbecue? For two days, sample the best ribs, dogs, and burgers, and check out spectacles like the famous Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest. Event proceeds help the USO-Metro and Capital Area Food Bank. Tickets are $12-$15. Check it out here!

AFI Docs Film Festival | Multiple Locations | Multi-day

10th Annual Astronomy Festival on the National Mall | by Smithsonian Castle | Saturday

Maryland

Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit & Father John Misty | Merriweather Post Pavilion | Friday

Two of indie music's biggest acts are co-headlining a tour – sign us up! Catch Jason Isbell with his band The 400 Unit and songwriter Father John Misty as they perform off of their respective records The Nashville Sound and God's Favorite Customer. Jade Bird will open. Camaro Nationals | Frederick Fairgrounds | Friday-Saturday

Farm to Table Dinner | Historic Elkridge Furnace Inn, Elkridge | Friday

Maryland Foodie Fest | Leidos Field at Ripken Stadium, Aberdeen | Saturday

Indulge your foodie tendencies with this regional food festival! Sip on local craft beer and try bites from Maryland restaurants. Jellyfish Festival | North Division Street, Ocean City | Friday-Sunday

Frederick Pride | Carroll Creek Linear Park | Saturday

Phish | Merriweather Post Pavilion | Saturday-Sunday
