Two men have found themselves on the wrong side of the law for allegedly playing cops in Baltimore County, a charade that caught the attention of actual law enforcement. Jordan Kearney, 24, and Kendall Vaughn, 30, are now facing multiple charges, including impersonating police officers, according to a report by WMAR-2 News . The duo was reportedly conducting what appeared to be an illegal traffic stop when they were apprehended. Authorities encountered the pair while performing a business check near Joan Avenue and Loch Raven Boulevard. They discovered that Kearney and Vaughn had outfitted their vehicles with green and white flashing lights to mimic official law enforcement vehicles closely. In what seems to be a brazen act, one of the men had even donned a bulletproof vest replete with a body-worn camera, giving the impression of legitimate policing authority. Upon their arrest, a variety of enforcement paraphernalia was confiscated. This haul included firearms, a Taser, and a pepperball launcher. The incident took a particularly dangerous turn with the revelation that one of the suspects was armed during the take-down. The traffic stop was carefully orchestrated, involving one vehicle boxing in the target car from the front and the other from behind, restricting the unsuspecting victim's movements. According to FOX Baltimore , Kearney and Vaughn are currently held at Baltimore County Detention Center on no bond. As the investigation continues to unfold, if there are others who may have fallen victim to this farce, detectives are urging them to come forward. Those with any encounters are asked to reach out to the police at 410-887-2361.
