If you're looking for a full-time or part-time job for the holiday season, UPS has announced it's hiring 125,000 seasonal workers in preparation for the 2024 holiday season. They expect to bring on 2,700 full- and part-time employees in Denver alone.
UPS is looking to hire delivery drivers, Commercial Driver's License (CDL) drivers, and package handlers.
Package handlers' seasonal hourly pay rates begin at $21 per hour, while CDL drivers and seasonal delivery drivers start at $23.
"The holiday season is our busiest time of year—which is why we’re looking to grow our team. If you want to help deliver what matters in your community while making competitive pay, apply for an open position today," said UPS.
Plus, 75% of the new positions no longer require an in-person interview, said UPS, allowing many applicants to receive a job offer within 20 minutes.
The company said its Earn and Learn program allows eligible employees to earn up to $25,000 for college tuition and expenses. Part-time seasonal employees can even qualify for pro-rated reimbursement the day they are hired. UPS said current employees can also receive a bonus when referring family and friends.
