'Tis the season to get paid to watch holiday movies.
Calling all Hallmark Christmas movie lovers! CenturyLink wants you to watch all the cheesy movies dripping with love and holiday spirit you can handle. And while that may seem like a prize in itself, you could actually earn money to do it!

"Put on your best pair of fuzzy socks, crank up the fire, and binge on Hallmark's cheesiest Christmas movies. Think you have the chops to make it through a Winter Love Story without crying? Can you predict if the female protagonist will end up with her boyfriend-slash-fiancée-slash-soulmate in Merry & Bright?" says the contest webpage.
In exchange for watching 24 Hallmark Christmas movies in 12 days, the cable provider will pay you a $1,000 and ask your opinion on each. That averages to two movies a day, which should be no issue if, like me, your TV is permanently on Hallmark during the holiday season.
Basically, you get bucks to binge ... just living the dream (and you don't have to be a CenturyLink customer to apply).

So who can enter to win? Any U.S. resident over 18 who lives for Christmas and loves Hallmark is eligible to apply. You must also be tuned into social media, as you'll be required to share your experiences will followers.
"You don't just like Christmas, you love it," says the contest about the perfect candidate. "We're looking for a lover of all things Christmas, G-Rated romcoms, and too-close-to-home family dramas. If you think that's you, we'll give you $1,000 to critique a lineup of festive guilty pleasures. We want you to have opinions—lots of them! Think the grumpy Grandpa turned jolly Santa was a little overdone? Felt like the plot was a bit half-baked? Be as honest as possible in your review."
If you are chosen, not only will you be paid, but you'll also get a holiday pack of everything you need to enjoy the movies, including:
- Streaming service subscription
- Packet of hot cocoa
- Box of Christmas cookies
- String of fairy lights

- More Hallmark swag than you could ever need
