On Friday and Saturday, McMullen Ice Arena at the Naval Academy Bridage Sports Complex is home to a 24-hour long ice hockey tournament to benefit veterans.

Navy Youth Hockey, alongside RBC and other area sponsors, put together this event 8 years ago and have since raised tens of thousands of dollars for veterans organizations across America.

The round-the-clock event benefits the following organizations: USA Warriors Ice Hockey, DAV, Wounded Warrior Project, Fisher House, Truckin4Troops, paws4vets, U.S. Patriot Sailing, Battle Buddy Response Team, Valhalla Sailing Project and Warfighter Advance.
