Denver has options for capturing your dog's precious face in a Santa hat.

Looking to send out a personalized holiday card to friends and family this year? Why not take advantage of the fact that your dog (or cat) is the most adorable creature on the planet and get some professional photos already? There are several events and retail locations in Denver where you can get a photographer to capture your fur baby during the most wonderful time of the year.

River North Brewery on November 10

On Saturday from 1-6 p.m., The Brewtography Project will be offering 15-minute holiday photo sessions for your furry friend. The best part? Half of the proceeds from each $40 ticket supports Big Bones Canine Rescue. You'll get digital files that you can print, email, or add to custom holiday cards. They'll even have festive costumes and props available for your dog to wear. This event is almost sold out, so hurry and get tickets!

Park Meadows on November 12

On November 12 from 5-8 p.m., it's Pet Night at Park Meadows in Lone Tree. Bring your pet to see Santa Claus and you'll get a variety of photos to send or save. What will your dog ask for while on Santa's lap? Treats? Chew toys? An old sock? Reserve your spot now.

Bruz Beers on November 17

On Saturday, November 17, from 2-6 p.m., Rayna McGinnis Photography will be providing pet portraits at Bruz Beers. In exchange for a donation of your choice, you'll receive one emailed copy of your pet's most stunning holiday portrait, and you can also order additional photos at an extra cost. Donations benefit Life is Better Rescue.

Wag Your Tail Photography

If your cat or dog loves the camera too much to share the spotlight, consider booking a private photo session with Christina Cookson, a local Denver pet photographer. She photographs both dogs and cats, and will even take pictures of pets with their humans, so you can be a part of the fun. Her adorable portfolio speaks for itself.

JCPenney

You'll need to bring your own props and costumes to make your pet look holiday-ready, but your local JCPenney store is a great option for affordable pet portraits. You can even get photos of the entire family alongside your four-legged star of the show. JCPenney recommends you bring treats for optimal cooperation. You'll need to call ahead to schedule an appointment and fill out a pet waiver prior to arrival.

Ark Pet Art Gallery

For a unique take on your annual pet portrait, check out the artists at Ark Pet Art Gallery. You can get classic photographs taken, or opt for an airbrush piece or even a sculpture! Call Woof in Boots for more details.

Once you have your favorite pet photo picked out, there are tons of online options for sending personalized holiday cards. Check out sites like Shutterfly or Minted, where you can upload your pet's photo onto a themed holiday card.
