Got a rad costume picked out? You could win thousands.

Superheroes and zombies, step aside; it's probably going to take a more creative costume to win one of Denver's Halloween costume contests this year. While most Halloween parties happening in Denver include a costume contest, few boast prizes in the hundreds and thousands. For those who have invested time and money into a spooky (or silly) costume that is poised to impress, we've rounded up the top costume contests with the highest earning potential.

So go ahead and go all out when you dress up this Halloween -- you could go home with thousands in your pocket.
